Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of multiple roofing projects by coordinating materials, labor, schedules, client communications, etc. Working closely with Superintendents, field technicians, department heads, vendors, and customers. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Blue Ridge Roofing's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Manage multiple commercial roofing projects simultaneously from kickoff through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate activities with field operations.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful execution.
- Identify and proactively resolve project challenges before they impact schedule or cost.
- Coordinate project turnover and closeout documentation.
Client Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout each project.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
- Provide project updates, address questions, and resolve concerns professionally.
- Attend owner, architect, contractor, and project meetings as required.
Project Coordination
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, material procurement, and project documentation.
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and subcontractors to support project schedules.
- Ensure project documentation remains accurate and up to date using company software.
Labor & Resource Management
- Coordinate labor schedules with Superintendents and Operations.
- Ensure crews have the resources and materials needed to maintain productivity.
- Assist with forecasting labor and material needs across multiple projects.
- Work collaboratively with field leadership to maintain efficient operations.
Quality & Safety
- Partner with Superintendents to ensure work meets Blue Ridge Roofing quality standards.
- Conduct project inspections and quality control reviews throughout construction.
- Verify compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and company standards.
- Support and reinforce all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
General Requirements
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Familiarity with budgeting, job costing, and project financial management.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel between job sites as needed.
- Ability to walk active construction sites, climb ladders, and access rooftops.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
