Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Die Cast Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating die casting machinery to produce high-quality aluminum components efficiently and safely. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly while maintaining strict quality standards. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate die casting machines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration for each production run
- Monitor machine operations, adjusting parameters as needed to optimize quality and productivity
- Inspect cast parts to identify defects
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on die casting equipment to minimize downtime
- Utilize hand tools, fabrication tools, and tooling to prepare molds, dies, and auxiliary equipment
- Ensure adherence to safety standards
Requirements
- Hired individuals will be on day shift for approximately 3-4 weeks to receive on the job training, then will move to their permanent night shift schedule
- Experience with forklift operation and crane handling is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality standards
- Ability to work with hand tools and power tools efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $18.29 - $22.20 per hour
