What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Event Staff position at Blue Ridge Mountain Catering?
Blue Ridge Mountain Catering is hiring for Part-Time Catering Event Staff. Successful candidates are added to our contact list used to staff events as they are booked. Individuals may work as many or as few events as they desire, however priority scheduling is provided to those that consistently respond to requests and regularly work events.
Pay starts at $15 per hour but also increases for Event Leads. Event Leads work with our Director of Events & Catering to lead the staff on-site during events.
For each event, all event employees that worked are included in a Tip-Share for every event that clients leave additional staff gratuities. Tip amounts can often increase compensation significantly but are not guaranteed for every event.
A professional, neat appearance is required during events. Experience working events is preferred but not required.
