WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING!
- Perform all aspects of project management and provide the core leadership required to guide the project team to success.
- Build relationships with clients, assemble project proposals and estimates.
- Oversee subcontracting selection and process, and manage cost, schedule and billing.
- Interfacing with representatives regarding the project's progress.
- Management of project controls and accounting.
- Ensure field engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
- Provide technical support for construction, including participation in construction planning.
- Coordinate with the engineering group to assure completeness and correctness of design and construction documents. Plan, conduct, and monitor work in accordance with engineering construction plans and specifications.
THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL!
- Bachelor’s degree with a preference in Construction Management or Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in progressive and technical construction environment in projects such as Healthcare, M.O.B. & Ground Up, OSHPD, Acute Care & Impatient.
- Proficient with computer applications such as MS Project, PowerPoint, and Timberline.
- Solid understanding the building permit process.
- Good understanding of all trades, including MEP.
- Experience with construction safety practices.
- Promotes XL policies and procedures to the highest level of ethics and professionalism.
