Job Description:
Requirements and Experience:
- Education – Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- At least 2-3 years of live event production or relevant experience required.
- Ability to work varied and changing schedule (mornings, nights & weekends included).
- Ability to interface with clients and event partners at a high level of professional presentation standards.
- Have a valid VA (or other state’s) driver's license, a personal vehicle for use, and be able to travel.
- Ability to work from our Charlottesville Main office location

Job Duties:
- Responsible for leading a team of technicians onsite to execute various events of all sizes and types. Including but not limited to, galas, weddings, conferences, meetings, and concerts.
- Work closely with Account Managers and Hotel Directors to have a full and clear understanding of the client’s needs and vision.
- Possibly acting as the main point of contact for BREP during the pre-conference, set, strike, and proceedings of an event.
- Correspond with all relevant members of the Company personnel to communicate the necessary information regarding any changes to an ongoing event.
- Builds and maintains a positive and professional relationship with BREP, industry partners, venue staff, and clientele.
- Participate in weekly production meetings and additional meetings, as needed, for larger events.
Onsite Technician Duties:
- On-site presence to reinforce company procedures, processes for installation, management, and striking of events.
- Applicants should show aptitude in multiple relevant disciplines of event production, such as Audio, Lighting, Video, Rigging, or Camera work.
- Become proficient with all aspects of the company's inventory and equipment. Applicants should seek baseline and advanced knowledge on how to install and operate inventory items.
- Learning how to manage onsite live events from installation through event completion.
Other Expected Duties:
- Assisting with other Company tasks and projects, as needed.
Supplemental Pay:
- Increased pay for operator hours.
- Per Diem supplied for applicable jobs.
- Mileage reimbursement for applicable jobs.
