Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Box Truck Driver. The driver would be operating a Ford F550 with a box on the back (Non-Hazmat). This role requires experience in commercial driving and a positive attitude. We are a small company that emphasizes customer service and provides a great working environment.
This position can be full time or part time. This position can also provide some flexible scheduling. Pay and benefits negotiable depending on experience and whether full or part time.
Duties
- Safely Operate a Ford F550 Box Truck.
- Safely transport product on routes throughout Virginia.
- Load and unload product as required, ensuring clean and secure handling of product.
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate daily delivery information and documentation.
- Communicate with management in regard to scheduling and route changes
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving
- Ability to navigate routes efficiently
- Ability to learn proper product handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Capability to perform moderate physical tasks associated with delivering product.
- A positive attitude and a propensity for providing great customer service!
