FLSA-Non Exempt Hourly Position
12 Months-8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Reports to: Business Manager
Qualifications:
High School diploma or higher education preferred
Ability to meet people and handle a variety of office tasks.
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with students, staff and the community.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbal and written, maintain confidentiality
Ability to organize, prioritize, take initiative, responsible for workload, meet deadlines while working with frequent interruptions and with minimum supervision
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills, detail, accuracy and multitasking abilities
Proficient in use of technology and office-related computer skills
Regular and on-time attendance required
Essential Duties Include:
Assist with a variety of financial information for the purpose of providing support of the day to day operations
Assist with clerical work in other areas of the District Office
Coordinating and validating reports and information required for the preparation of quarterly and annual reports.
Keeping current with federal and state laws impacting the school business operations and accounting standards, as well as proposed legislation impacting financial operations and school management developments.
Performing other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work units.
Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer

LICENSING/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to pass FBI and State background check or Fingerprint Clearance Card as positions requires by policy or Statute
DEMONSTRATED SKILL/ABILITY TO:
Communicate information and ideas effectively
Analyze and interpret financial data
Apply a logical thought process necessary for problem solving and decision-making
Research and reconcile documents to automated systems
