Job Title: Facility Housekeeper / Janitor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Facility Housekeeper to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and productive environment across both our manufacturing facility and corporate office spaces. The ideal candidate will work independently to ensure all common areas, offices, and facilities are sanitized and well-kept.
Starting wage: $14 per hour
Shift and Schedule:
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Full-Time) HOURS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO PRODUCTION.
Key Responsibilities:
- Breakroom & Common Areas: Clean, sanitize breakroom. Wipe down counters, tables, appliances, and sinks. Sweep and mop floor.
- Restrooms: Thoroughly clean, disinfect, and restock all employee and office bathrooms.
- Corporate Office Housekeeping: Perform general cleaning in the office areas, including dusting, wiping surfaces, mopping and vacuuming and cleaning glass windows/doors.
- Floor Care: Sweep and mop hard surfaces across the plant walkways, breakrooms, and offices.
- Waste Management: Empty all trash cans, recycling bins, and waste receptacles throughout the facility, replacing liners and disposing of waste in designated dumpsters.
- Stock Management: Monitor and record stock levels for essential supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or industrial housekeeping is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical workloads, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for the duration of a 9-hour shift.
- Knowledge of standard cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
