Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Dermatologist role based in Raleigh, NC. The dermatologist will provide comprehensive medical dermatology care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, and other skin disorders. Daily responsibilities include performing skin examinations, minor dermatologic procedures, and biopsies, as well as interpreting diagnostic tests and developing treatment plans. The role also involves counseling patients on skin health, preventive care, and available cosmetic dermatology options, collaborating with other clinicians and staff, maintaining accurate medical records, and adhering to clinical and regulatory standards. Participation in practice meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development is expected.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical expertise in Dermatology and general Medicine relevant to outpatient dermatologic care.
- Experience diagnosing and treating common skin conditions such as Acne and other medical dermatology disorders.
- Knowledge and skills in Cosmetic Dermatology and Cosmetology procedures appropriate to a general dermatology practice.
- Minimum of 2 years post-residency experience as a practicing dermatologist in a clinical setting.
- MD from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited dermatology residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Dermatology and active, or eligibility for, unrestricted medical licensure in North Carolina.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a busy clinical schedule while maintaining thorough documentation and high-quality standards of care.
