What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMS Lab Assistant-Part-Time position at Blue Ridge Community College?
The EMS program area would like to hire a lab assistant to assist in stocking, maintenance, and general upkeep of program materials.
Must be at least NC, other state, or NREMT certified as an EMT or higher.
Skills And The Know-How
Proficient in the use of office software. Basic telephone and email skills.
Physical Demands
The ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines.

- Stocking and organization of EMS supplies.
- Filing, emailing, and other clerical duties as needed.
- Restock medical bags and IV carts
- Restock CPR supplies
- Maintain the campus ambulances
- Sort and put away donations
- Other duties as assigned
