We’re seeking a strategic, relationship‑focused Annual Fund and Stewardship Coordinator to lead our direct response fundraising and Annual Fund efforts. In this role, you’ll drive donor communications, grateful family outreach, digital fundraising, and stewardship initiatives that strengthen the donor experience and fuel mission impact.
You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Development, and operational partners to deliver compelling messaging, meaningful donor engagement, and seamless fundraising operations.

About The Role

You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Development, and operational partners to deliver compelling messaging, meaningful donor engagement, and seamless fundraising operations.
How You’ll Make a Difference
Annual Fund & Direct Response
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Blue Ridge Care’s Annual Fund and direct response fundraising campaigns.
- Lead direct mail, digital giving, memorial/in‑honor giving, peer‑to‑peer (P2P), and internal giving initiatives.
- Oversee electronic donor communications, including email appeals and stewardship messaging.
- Maintain a comprehensive Annual Fund calendar with campaigns, events, stewardship touchpoints, and donor engagement activities.
- Partner with the Marketing team to develop compelling messaging and donor‑focused materials.
- Coordinate production of print and digital fundraising pieces.
- Support creation and management of online giving pages and event registration platforms.
- Support ongoing donor stewardship through impact updates, campaign follow‑up, and thoughtful communication.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Development to ensure seamless stewardship across donor touchpoints.
- Track stewardship activities, follow‑ups, and donor care needs.
- Assist with timely gift acknowledgements and gift processing.
- Provide administrative and project support to the Vice President of Development and the broader Development team.
- Contribute to reporting, coordination, and operations that strengthen the donor experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, communications, or similar coordination roles.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft donor‑focused messaging.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with donor database systems.

Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
