Therapist, Services Members, Veterans, & Families (SMVF)

Schedule: Mon - Fri; day shift. No weekends!

Pay: Additional compensation commensurate with experience.

• Master's Degree: $24/hour. Degree must be eligible to register as a Resident in Counseling or Supervise in Social Work.
• Licensed LPC or LCSW Pay: $31/hour.
  
  

Are you interested in providing services to Service Members, Veterans, and Families (SMVF)? In this position you will provide individual and group counseling to address issues such as substance use, mental health disorders, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The Therapist provides assessments, treatment planning, referrals, and evidence-based trauma therapies. They may provide educational presentations within the agency or throughout the community to help increase knowledge of SMVF culture, resources, and best practices.

Requirements

• Education/Licensure/Certifications: This position requires a Master's degree that is eligible to register as a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in Virginia. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will have a higher pay rate.
• Experience working with Service Members, Veterans, and Families is a plus!
• Safe Driving Record: Candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
• Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to complete a background check and drug screen.
