Description

Responsibilities
Protective Transportation
- Safely transport principals while minimizing risk exposure through proactive driving strategies.
- Maintain constant situational awareness before, during, and after all movements.
- Plan primary and alternate routes based on threat assessments, traffic patterns, and environmental risks.
- Conduct advance reconnaissance and site assessments related to transportation routes and venues.
- Apply defensive and evasive driving techniques as required to mitigate threats.
- Maintain readiness to respond to hostile or emergency driving situations.
- Identify and report suspicious activity, including potential mobile surveillance.
- Coordinate with EP agents regarding observed risks or anomalies.
- Respond appropriately to medical or security emergencies while operating the vehicle.
- Coordinate with EP agents and local authorities as needed.
- Ensure assigned vehicles are operational, clean, and mission-ready.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
- Work closely with executive protection agents and operations staff.
- Accurately document movements, incidents, and operational observations.
- Adhere to all company policies and applicable state and local laws.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding clients and operations.
- Advance work and site assessments.
- Travel and logistics coordination.
- Manage communications and protocols during high-risk scenarios.
- Document and report all incidents, movements, and protective measures.
- Must hold a VA PPS license.
- Must hold a valid Security Driver or Executive Protection Certification from a reputable EP academy.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in protective driving, executive protection, law enforcement, or military service.
- Must maintain clean criminal and driving records and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Must be physically fit and capable of sustaining 14 hour operational shifts.
- Must hold current BLS/CPR/AED, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed certifications.
- Must have or obtain EVOC certification.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be technology literate, including familiarity with navigation, communication, and security tools.
- Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to produce accurate written reports.
- Must be able to travel extensively, including weekends and holidays, based on client needs.
- Must be proficient in English (Level 3), with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong risk assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate under high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of defensive and evasive driving tactics.
- Proficiency in counter-surveillance techniques.
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
- Must be highly adaptable and able to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.
