Job Title: Buffet Attendant/Grab and Go Attendant
Department: Jump Trading
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt Status: Full Time
Reports To: Account Manager
Customary Days: Monday – Friday
Customary Hours: This role may require occasional work on evenings, holidays, and weekends, depending on business needs.
Position Summary
The Buffet Attendant/Grab and Go Attendant will work close with the Location Supervisor to ensure smooth operations of the conference space. Such duties include but are not limited to, assisting with the delivery of food and beverages, setting up and maintaining the conference catering area, and ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. This role will also assist in the inventory management of the onsite equipment, disposables, cleaning supplies, etc., and ensure adequate stock level are maintained.
Essential Functions:
- Receive & set up the daily breakfast and lunch orders onsite in the designated buffet area.
- Maintain catering equipment inventory and responsible for regular maintenance of the equipment
- Participate in weekly deep cleaning projects for the conference catering area.
- Assist with monitoring all onsite inventory levels.
- Support Location Supervisor in the development and execution of Standard Operating Procedure.
- Collaborates with management when appropriate in order to meet the needs and expectations of the client.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are adhered to.
- Attend daily and/or weekly meetings as required by management.
- Performs other job-related duties as directed.
Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Previous restaurant/hospitality experience is required.
- Illinois BASSET Certification or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire is required.
- Sate and Local Sanitation Management Certification or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire is required.
- High School diploma preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications.
