This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, andSecurity. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a small, hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers you will push the boundaries of what’s possible in security management in support of various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of physical security technology, to include physical security, threat management and investigations. This position will have matrix reporting to the Security Technology Manager, while assisting site security managers with technology needs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support implementation and maintenance of camera and access control software and hardware devices; working with networking and installation vendors
- Provide hands-on service and connectivity resolution for technical security devices
- Provide direct support to site security managers in the creation of access control workflows and clearances
- Support Security Managers by providing technical assistance during investigations
- Monitor access control and CCTV system for device uptime and resolve availability issues
- Support site security managers with the implementation and maintenance of Visitor management system workflows and configurations.
- Create and maintain schedules of events in Access Control system as needed
- Support creation of custom application layouts in access control system.
- Support creation of custom reports and queries as needed in access control system.
- Support in an asset management system to track, manage and maintain all technical security devices
- Assist site security managers with customizations of access control projects and implementation
- Manage security permission bundles in CCTV system
Minimum Qualifications:
- Perform basic software configuration management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network devices and connections, as well as server and computer infrastructure.
- Experience with network devices, including an understanding of VLANs, DHCP, and network scanning and mapping.
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Other qualifications that are desire, but not required:
- Experience with access control systems
- Experience with CCTV systems
- Experience with visitor management systems
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Top Secret security clearance.
- CompTIA A and/or Network certification
