Weekly Pay, The CNA Home Health Aide (HHA) provides compassionate, non-medical care and support to clients in their homes. The HHA assists with daily living activities, promotes client independence, and ensures a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment while delivering high-quality, client-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Provide assistance with transfers and ambulation as needed
Support proper positioning and comfort of clients
Daily Living Support
Prepare light meals according to client preferences or dietary guidelines
Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying client areas)
Run errands such as grocery shopping or pharmacy pickups
Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
Companionship & Emotional Support
Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities
Encourage social interaction and mental stimulation
Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior
Safety & Documentation
Maintain a safe home environment and follow infection control procedures
Accurately document care provided and report concerns promptly
Follow the client’s individualized care plan and agency policies
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
4 years of experience
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background check and reference checks
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred)
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
