Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Business Development Associate to grow our presence and strengthen relationships in the real estate community. As our Business Development Associate, you’ll serve as the face of Blue Ocean Title to realtors, clients, and the local community. You’ll nurture both new and existing client relationships, provide valuable resources, attend key industry events, and consistently represent our brand with professionalism and heart.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, real estate offices, and clients.
- Use CRM software to manage communication and follow-ups with prospects and existing clients—always adding value and staying connected.
- Market Blue Ocean Title to real estate professionals through regular outreach, presentations, and creative campaigns.
- Attend and represent Blue Ocean Title at local real estate board events, networking mixers, and industry conferences.
- Stay up to date on trends, changes, and developments in the real estate industry and share that knowledge internally and externally.
- Travel weekly between St. Augustine and Daytona real estate offices to support marketing service agreements and build visibility.
- Visit area real estate offices to foster trust and become the go-to title expert in the region.
- Create compelling marketing content using tools like Canva to support outreach and engagement efforts.
- Be active and visible in the community, embodying the Blue Ocean Title brand and values in all you do.
- Collaborate with the internal team to align business development strategies with company goals.
- Consistently contribute to the growth of new business and retention of current clients, supporting overall productivity and profitability targets.
Qualifications
- 2 years in business development, sales, marketing, or a client-facing role—preferably in real estate, title, or mortgage.
- Strong knowledge of the real estate ecosystem and a genuine interest in staying informed about industry trends.
- Comfortable using CRM platforms and marketing tools (Canva, social media, email platforms).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—friendly, polished, and trustworthy.
- Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work independently and travel regularly.
- Passion for helping people and building long-term, meaningful relationships.
- Willingness to travel between offices and throughout the region.
