What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Coordinator position at Blue Mountain Resort?
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong verbal and written communication to interact effectively with employees and management.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Prior Human Resources experience preferred but not required
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Field incoming calls and emails to the HR office
- Greet internal and external guests in a warm and professional manner
- Accurately onboard associates and process changes in HRIS (UKG) system
- Maintain personnel files in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with paperwork including I-9s and minor working papers
- Assist with associate communication regarding perks, benefits, trainings, etc.
- Conduct new employee orientations
- Assist with recruitment efforts including job fairs and candidate contact
