What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Public Safety Manager position at Blue Mountain Resort?
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Act 235 Certified.
- A desire to be an integral part of a fast-paced team with a constant emphasis on safety.
- Ability to focus on guests’ needs while remaining calm during stressful situations.
- 5 years of Public Safety experience.
- Should be certified in Taser, Ocat, Baton & Handcuffing, OR be able to obtain certifications within 6 months of hire.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, emergency response protocols, security systems, and risk assessment techniques.
- This role often involves a combination of office work and field supervision, requiring the ability to respond to emergencies at any time.

- Identifies and reports all safety/security-related matters.
- Performs investigations and cooperates with local law enforcement officials as needed.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive public safety and security procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Train, schedule, and evaluate security personnel and staff engaged in public safety duties.
