Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in shaping Blue Mountain Clinic’s public presence and advancing our mission through strategic marketing, social media, and digital outreach. This position will manage day-to-day content creation, oversee paid digital advertising campaigns, and implement multi-platform communications that engage supporters, attract new audiences, and build awareness of our services and advocacy.
The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller and digital strategist who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and understands the importance of protecting and advancing reproductive rights. Experience in political campaigns, advocacy communications, or healthcare marketing is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Communications
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to grow awareness, engagement, and supporter conversion across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, Threads, LinkedIn, and TikTok).
- Create compelling, mission-aligned content (graphics, videos, copy) that reflects Blue Mountain Clinic’s values and voice.
- Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, comments, and trends relevant to reproductive rights.
- Analyze and report on social media and email campaign performance using data-driven insights to inform future strategy.
Digital Advertising & Campaigns
- Design and execute digital ad campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.) to promote clinic services, fundraising campaigns, and advocacy messages.
- Collaborate with the Development Director to align advertising efforts with fundraising and communications goals.
- Track and manage digital marketing budgets and optimize ad performance to maximize reach and impact.
Content & Marketing
- Maintain and update website content in coordination with staff and consultants.
- Support email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and donor communications.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and event collateral.
- Capture and curate photo and video content that elevates Blue Mountain Clinic’s story and community impact. Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with the Development Director and leadership team to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
- Support outreach and event promotion for fundraising, advocacy, and community engagement activities.
- Support planning and execution of events as part of the Development Team.
- Stay informed on current reproductive rights issues, trends in healthcare communications, and digital marketing best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, political science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in digital marketing, communications, or campaign strategy (nonprofit or political experience preferred).
- Proficiency with social media management platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social) and digital ad tools.
- Experience with email marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or EveryAction). * Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
- Basic design experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
