Blue Moon is a local family-owned and operated business that specializes in rentals of portable restrooms, restroom trailers, hand washing/sanitizing stations, temporary construction fencing, roll off dumpsters, and residential/commercial trash collection.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Blue Moon is seeking a highly motivated individual for a route driver position. Duties include delivering, cleaning and moving portable restrooms and garbage route driver. Applicant must have good customer services skills, acts in a professional and courteous manner toward customers and co-workers; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Operates vehicle in accordance OSHA. (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
· Ability to operate truck safely to service, deliver and pick up portable units. Preferably be able to back a trailer without assistance.
· Ensure that units are clean and sanitized, stocked with paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc. prior to deliver to job site.
· Be able to follow garbage route and pick up all customers garbage efficiently.
WORK AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma or GED
· Must be at least 21 years of age
· Legally eligible to work in the United States.
· Clean driving record.
· A Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate
· Submit to and receive a Negative/Pass result on a Controlled Substance (drug screen).
· Willing to work outside in all weather conditions and able to lift 75 pounds.
· Applicant must be able to bend, stoop, squat, sit and maneuver in confined spaces
· Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves manual labor
· Ability to maintain workloads that may include daily timeframes that could exceed the typical 8-hour shift
