What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-House Counsel position at Blue Max Trucking Inc?
Blue Max Trucking (www.bluemaxtrucking.com) is a 41-year-old trucking company that operates Dump Trucks and Dump Trailers in the Carolinas and Georgia. We are based out of Charlotte, NC but have a total of 6 locations.
We are looking to hire an attorney to act as in-house counsel for a variety of legal, compliance, contractual and / or advisory areas. Will mold the role to the applicant’s fit (since needs are general) but envisioning more of a junior in-house role ideally with some experience in a few of the following areas: general/construction litigation, workers comp, insurance defense, employment law, contract drafting and/or general safety / compliance. Having prior experience dealing with the transportation industry, DOT, FMCSA, etc. is a plus but not required.
