Now Hiring: Delivery Driver Assistant (No CDL Required)
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Delivery Driver Assistant to join our team!
In this role, you will ride along with a driver to help deliver bagged ice to convenience stores, bars, construction sites, events, and more. Ice is packaged on pallets, and you will assist with loading the dolly (400–800 lbs at a time) and transporting it into the customer’s storage area (ice machines or walk-in freezers).
This is a physically active position where you will be in and out of the truck throughout the day. You must be comfortable working in heat and wet environments.
You will also interact with customers, potential customers, and vendors, so a positive attitude and friendly personality are a must. Our workload is weather-dependent—when temperatures rise, so do deliveries—so flexibility is important.
Position Details:
- Full-time position M-F ( Weekends in Summer)
- Ride-along position (no CDL required)
- Schedule may require early start times or later days as needed
Requirements:
- No CDL required
- Drug-free workplace
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to assist with moving heavier loads using equipment (dollies, etc.)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Availability to work nights and weekends during the summer
- Basic math skills
