Procurement Manager-Facilities Management

Our client manages 1,000 facilities across the Americas. Their sourcing programme has outgrown its current setup, and they are now looking for a Procurement Manager/Facilities Management to join their team in the USA and bring structure and savings to how that spend is managed. Job Profile for Procurement Manager - Facilities Management

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Oversee small procurement team, setting priorities, standards and delivery pace
• Engage client C-suite and senior stakeholders directly: present strategy, defend recommendations, and secure decisions
• Lead the most complex negotiations and resolve escalated supplier and stakeholder issues
• Deliver a 10% saving on every category of spend you address
• Baseline NA FM services by site, service type and value, and build the sourcing plan on top of it
• Report progress to client leadership against savings and milestones
• Identify and own sourcing risks, decisions and dependencies through to resolution

Candidate Profile for Procurement Manager - Facilities Management

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Senior FM procurement and supplier management experience in North America
• Track record managing a procurement team and delivering through others
• Confident engaging C-suite and senior client stakeholders, including in contested or high-stakes discussions
• Proven in complex, multi-party supplier negotiations and dispute resolution
• Confident running procurement analysis and drafting through AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) as part of daily work
• Strong with supplier, site, service and spend data, and strong in Excel
• Reporting and executive-communication discipline: clear written and verbal briefing to leadership
• Able to work independently as a contractor and deliver against agreed milestones
• Comfortable working remotely across the US and Canada
