Responsibilities
Greet and direct all visitors, employees, and vendors arriving at the facility; maintain visitor logs and issue access credentials as required.
Perform access control at the reception desk, verifying authorization for all individuals entering the premises.
Answer and route incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general administrative and clerical support as directed.
Monitor the surrounding area for suspicious activity, maintaining a visible security presence that deters unauthorized behavior.
Respond appropriately to emergencies, disturbances, or incidents; contact law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
Maintain accurate, detailed written incident reports, daily logs, and documentation of all notable activities.
Adhere to all client-specific site protocols, company policies, and Texas DPS regulations governing non-commissioned security officers.
Participate in ongoing training and comply with all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements
Must hold a valid Texas Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), or be able to obtain one prior to start date.
State approved training certificate.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and demonstrate English language proficiency.
Must pass an FBI fingerprint-based criminal background check. Certain disqualifications apply, including felony convictions and Class A misdemeanors.
Reliable transportation required.
Strong written communication and report-writing skills; proficient observation and situational awareness.
Must maintain the physical fitness necessary to perform all assigned security duties.
