Armed Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV systems and physical presence to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring CPR or first aid
• Enforce access control protocols by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Conduct thorough inspections of individuals and packages to prevent theft and ensure compliance with security policies
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to facilitate effective resolution
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate potential threats
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records for accountability and future reference

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong security acumen
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention strategies
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable; additional training in conflict management is a plus
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
• Strong understanding of security procedures, law enforcement protocols, and emergency response techniques
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective collaboration with emergency responders or law enforcement agencies
