Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work with precision and attention to detail on residential construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials.
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and cabinets.
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively with clients.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- Experience in residential carpentry preferred (will train the right candidate)
- Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license.
