Under supervision of the classroom teacher, the classroom aide will assist the teacher in the instructional process, reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom environment and assist in monitoring students while on campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of college training related to children, or graduation from high school or comparable demonstration of basic competence and one year experience work with children.
- Demonstrate competence in communicating effectively with children and parents, and staff members.
- A passing score on the Instructional Aide Proficiency Test.
- Demonstrate competence in communicating effectively with children and parents, and staff members.
- Maintain valid CPR and First Aid certification is desired .
- Fingerprint clearance and current screening for Tuberculosis required.
