Responsibilities
- Operate pressing machines, washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, load, and unload laundry loads with care, including heavy lifting of linens and garments.
- Perform garment finishing tasks such as pressing, folding, and packaging to meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by adhering to sanitation standards and organizing supplies.
- Assist with customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries related to laundry services.
- Manage manual handling tasks with attention to safety protocols, equipment operation.
- Keep accurate records of laundry cycles, inventory levels, and cash handling if applicable.
Skills
- Familiarity with laundry equipment such as pressing machines and washers/dryers.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, and cleaning duties.
- Experience with cashiering or cash handling is a plus but not required.
