What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snowmaker position at Blue Knob All Seasons Resort?
Blue Knob All Seasons Resort in Claysburg, PA is searching for people who want to join our snow making team! Snow makers are among the “rock stars” of the ski area, creating the product that we depend on for our skiers & snowboarders!
Responsibilities include:
- Learning the science of man-made snow
- Making sure there is a proper air & water supply to the snow guns
- Monitoring snow guns for proper output
Applicants must be available to work as snow making conditions permit and work outside in extreme conditions for long periods of time. Snow makers also must be able to work on sometimes steep & uneven terrain and be able to safely operate both ATV’s & snowmobiles. In addition to an hourly wage, our employees have skiing/snowboarding & snow tubing privileges, discounts in our retail shop and on food and complimentary lift tickets or snow tubing tickets each season for friends & family!
