What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ski Lift Attendant position at Blue Knob All Seasons Resort?

Blue Knob All Seasons Resort in Claysburg is looking for energetic, friendly people to work as ski lift operators and attendants!
Our “lifties” are responsible for:
-Loading skiers & snowboarders on the chairlifts in a safe manner.
-Making sure skiers unload safely.
-Maintaining safe and orderly lift ramps.
-Giving instructions on safe loading & unloading to skiers unfamiliar with using the lift.
-Checking for valid lift tickets & passes.
-Making sure those in line are are loading the lift in an orderly manner.
-Shoveling snow and maintaining the lift line area.
Lift attendants must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Lift attendants interact with all of our customers, so we’re looking for friendly, courteous applicants who enjoy talking to people! You can earn money and receive skiing/ snowboarding & snow tubing privileges, discounts on food and items in our retail shop and 5 complimentary lift tickets or snow tubing passes over the course of the season for friends or family!
