Job Summary
The Contents Mover plays a critical role in delivering on our core values of Commitment to Quality Service and Continuous Improvement, Caring, and Communication within our contents and textiles restoration business by providing physical support in remediation efforts for client contents. This individual will primarily spend their time:
1. Delivering contents restoration services to our quality standards.
2. Performing packout, content manipulation, storage, and packback related duties.
Main functions will include performing tasks related to moving and transporting items on contents packouts, manipulation, and storage.

Responsibilities
- Moving and loading boxes and large items from customer locations and our warehouse
- Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks
- Manipulate contents at the client site to allow for the remediation crew to perform required tasks
- Correctly wrap and package contents to prevent damage during transport
- Transport contents to cleaning facility for cleaning and storage
- Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices
Qualifications
- Experience as a mover preferred.
- Must be able to identify Product (consumables), usage, and disposal requirements with training
- Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz’s vehicle policy
- Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices
Physical Requirements
The employee must regularly lift and/or move between 25-75 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, sit, see, use hands and fingers to type on keyboard and handle material, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. Additionally:
- The worker is regularly subject to inside and outside environmental conditions
- The worker is regularly subject to one or more of the following atmospheric conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: Fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases and/or poor ventilation.
- The worker is occasionally subject to extreme cold: Temperatures typically below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the eAect of other environmental conditions such as wind and humidity.
- The worker is occasionally subject to extreme heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the eAect of other environmental conditions such as wind and humidity.
- The worker is occasionally subject to one or more hazards including moving vehicles, heavy objects overhead and exposure to chemicals.
- The worker is occasionally subject to air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids. The worker is occasionally required to wear a respirator.
Salary : $15 - $20
