Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Tracking parts, equipment, and materials for various telecom jobs (fiber, copper, wireless)
- Receiving & Shipping: Handling incoming deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments for field technicians
- Staging: Organizing and preparing specific parts and tools for upcoming projects or service orders
- Warehouse Operations: Operating forklifts, power tools, and maintaining a clean, organized space
- Procurement Support: Creating purchase orders and processing returns
- Facilities: May involve managing warehouse facilities and equipment
- This role supports roles like Telecom Technicians, Fiber Splicers, and Linemen by ensuring they have what they need to work efficiently
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Organization, attention to detail, operating machinery, basic computer skills, physical stamina, safety awareness
- Experience operating forklift and other material handling equipment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, procedures, and best practices
- Basic understanding of WASP inventory management software
- Ability to maintain accurate physical inventory and perform cycle counts
- Experience establishing and managing Min/Max inventory replenishment levels
- Cable or telecommunications industry knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and follow directions in fast paced environments
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical ability to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout the workday
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Willingness to travel as needed
