Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take accurate orders and assist customers with menu selections
- Operate POS systems for order entry, payments, and cash handling
- Support food and beverage service, including assisting with preparation and presentation
- Recommend and upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest experience and sales
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and following food safety standards
- Handle cashiering duties, including processing transactions and balancing registers
- Monitor and restock supplies to support daily operations
- Follow all alcohol service, food handling, and sanitation regulations
- Work closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure timely, quality service
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, food service, or retail experience preferred (not required)
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (or willingness to be trained)
- Experience with POS systems is a plus
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
