Restaurant 1796 is seeking an energetic and reliable Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you'll be a key part of ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless dining experience by efficiently delivering freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to the dining room. Your role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of service that our restaurant is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely Delivery: Transport food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly while ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Guest Support: Assist servers by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and ensuring guests have everything they need.
- Quality Check: Verify that dishes meet our quality standards before they reach the table.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to keep service running smoothly.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy dining area by assisting with table resets and clearing used dishes as necessary.
- Additional Support: Help with minor food prep tasks or other duties as needed to ensure a seamless operation.
