Job Responsibilities
As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Research new technologies that relate to the effective implementation of Supply Chain Solutions, especially in the context of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain and related software & platforms.
- Prepare & execute training classes, labs, reference material and guidance for operational teams (CAS & PCS) on new technologies
- Design, develop, test and refactor solutions (beyond prototype, short of product) based on input from the rest of the solutions team
- Educate solutions team on new technologies and their uses
- Understand the business context of new technology releases and help evangelize the importance of these changes to customers and team members
- Participate in demonstrations and solutioning of new technologies as necessary
- Ability to move between high level architectural review/design and the “roll up the sleeves” level of providing architectural oversight for delivery projects
- Ability to work on multiple projects
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or the PowerPlatform
- Basic understanding of Application Lifecycle Management in the context of Dynamics 365 apps including purpose & timing, use of Azure Dev Ops, use of Lifecycle Services or Power Platform Admin Center, and understanding of packaging for deployment
- Basic understanding of deploying resources, managing costs, and building solutions within Azure Portal (preferably Azure iPaaS and Azure Data resources such as LogicApps, Functions, Synapse, Storage Accounts, etc)
- Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (preferably X and/or C#)
- Working knowledge of relational databases (preferably SQL)
- Bachelor's degree in a technically oriented field
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, One Drive, etc.
- Team player with strong communication, organization, and client interaction skills
- Ability to travel up to 40% domestically
- Must be legally eligible to work in the US on a permanent basis without sponsorship
