Blue Horizons Interiors is looking for a Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish in North Carolina . As pivotal point of reference for both workers and supervisors, and as a leader in-site you will coordinate daily operations, supervise crews, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring the successful completion of projects. You will be responsible for training new workers and working closely with property owners and building tenants to coordinate construction work. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide on-site activities.
- Manage project schedules to meet deadlines.
- Oversee quality control measures, ensuring work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating to keep projects financially on track.
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
- Utilize construction management software like Autodesk, Foundation, for documentation, reporting, and coordination.
- Supervise crews’ performance, provide training when necessary, and handle management of subcontractors on-site.
- Review contracts and manage compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction site supervision with proven managing and supervising skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise execution of work plans.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards coupled with the ability to enforce safety protocols effectively on-site.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating teams and managing client relationships effectively.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
