Job Title: Tubing Attendant – Customer Service
Location: Blue Hills Ski Area; Canton, MA
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time (Seasonal)
Tubing Attendants help provide a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all tubing guests at Blue Hills Ski Area. They assist with daily tubing operations including guest check-in, line management, tube distribution, and maintaining a safe tubing hill environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, helpful information about tubing procedures and safety rules
- Assist guests with tube loading, unloading, and hill transport (including lift operations if applicable)
- Monitor hill activity to ensure guests are following safety guidelines
- Maintain tubing area by managing lines, organizing tubes, and keeping the area clear of hazards
- Communicate any issues or incidents promptly to supervisors
- Support snowmaking or grooming staff as needed to maintain tubing lanes
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup, inspections, and cleanup
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for all visitors
Qualifications & Skills
- Friendly, outgoing attitude and commitment to guest safety
- Ability to work outdoors in cold weather for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual with a positive, professional demeanor
- Must be able to lift and move tubes (up to ~25 lbs) repeatedly
- No prior experience required—training provided
