Job Overview:
Blue Hills Ski Area is seeking energetic and personable bartenders to join our team for the winter season! If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating memorable experiences, we’d love to have you on board. As a bartender, you will be responsible for serving beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring our guests have a fantastic time after a day on the slopes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
- Check identification to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to support smooth operations during peak times.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience preferred but not required—willing to train motivated individuals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the ski season.
- TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification is a plus.
