Blue Hill Towing & Recovery is hiring an experienced Heavy-Duty Tow Truck Driver (CDL-A) for a first-responder, emergency response position. This role requires professionalism, accountability, and the ability to respond immediately when on duty.
This is not an entry-level CDL position and not a 9–5 job.
Job Overview
- Heavy-duty towing and recovery (tractor-trailers, buses, heavy equipment)
- Accident recovery, winching, uprighting, and emergency roadside response
- Working directly with law enforcement, DOT, and emergency services
- Safe operation and care of company-owned heavy-duty equipment
- Accurate job documentation and reporting
Minimum Requirements (Must Meet All)
- Valid CDL Class A
- Minimum 2 years of current, verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude
- Professional communication and appearance
Heavy-duty towing or recovery experience is strongly preferred.
On-Call & Response Expectations
- This is a first-responder position
- Drivers rotate scheduled on-call and duty assignments
- When on call or on duty, immediate response is required
- Nights, weekends, holidays, and after-hours responses are part of the job
- Reliability and accountability are mandatory

- On-target earnings average $120,000 per year, based on workload and performance
