Blue Hill Building Co. is a dynamic and growing small construction company specializing in full service remodeling, additions, and custom retreat homes. We strive to deliver high-quality projects that exceed our clients' expectations. As we expand our operations and reach, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, adaptable and share our core values.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of residential building and remodeling projects taking responsibility for delivering high quality projects on time and within budget.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, subcontractors and vendors, and our team. Document communication in our system.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed project schedules including task dependencies and keep the schedule up to date in our system as work progresses.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on workmanship and materials throughout the project. Identify and resolve any quality issues promptly.
- Problem Solving: Work collaboratively and creatively to solve problems.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with codes, safety rules, and the plans/specs.
Qualifications:
- Actual field experience in residential construction is required.
- Ability to read and understand plans.
- Knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and codes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive, collaborative attitude with the ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively use our project management system.
