The Role
As a PCA, you are the heartbeat of our service. You’ll work one-on-one with clients in their homes to provide dignity, safety, and companionship. Your day-to-day might include:
- Personal Care: Assisting with "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs) like dressing, bathing, and grooming.
- Home Support: Preparing healthy meals, light housekeeping, and keeping the home environment safe.
- Independence: Helping with mobility (using assistive devices) and providing transportation for errands or appointments.
- Connection: Providing vital companionship and engaging in social activities or memory care support for those with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
- Health Advocacy: Monitoring vitals and keeping clear, simple records of the client’s well-being.
What We’re Looking For
- Heart First: A genuine desire to help others and a reliable, patient personality.
- Experience: Previous caregiving experience (Home Care, Assisted Living, or Nursing Homes) is a plus, but we will train the right people.
- Skills: Knowledge of memory care, Hoyer lifts, or medication assistance is a bonus!
- Requirements: Must be 18 , able to pass a background check, and have a valid driver’s license (preferred).
