Fiberglass Swimming Pool Superintendent (5+yrs experience required)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee fiberglass pool installation projects from initial site preparation through final completion.
• Conduct walk through/pre-construction site evaluations and identify potential issues involving access, excavation, grading, drainage, utilities, soil conditions, or installation.
• Review project plans, site plans, specifications, contracts, and construction requirements.
• Coordinate and schedule excavation, fiberglass pool installation, plumbing, electrical, concrete, grading, fencing, and other subcontractor work.
• Work directly alongside field crews when needed and take a hands-on approach to construction and problem-solving.
• Operate construction and job-site equipment as needed to support project completion and field operations.
• Inspect fiberglass pool installations for proper placement, elevation, level, backfill, plumbing, equipment installation, and overall workmanship.
• Coordinate required municipal inspections and help ensure projects comply with applicable building codes and permit requirements.
• Communicate project status, upcoming construction steps, timelines, and customer expectations to homeowners.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve construction issues quickly and effectively.
• Escalate significant construction, scheduling, safety, or customer concerns to management when necessary.
• Coordinate closely with the office, sales/design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Maintain accurate project notes, schedules, photographs, measurements, and other project documentation.
• Monitor material deliveries and ensure required materials are available when needed.
• Track project timelines and identify potential delays before they impact the customer or project schedule.
• Conduct customer walkthroughs and final inspections to ensure contracted work has been completed properly.
• Manage punch-list items and coordinate the completion of outstanding work.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites throughout the construction process.
• Promote and enforce company safety standards and proper job-site practices.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding project progress, scheduling, quality concerns, delays, and customer issues.
• Manage multiple active construction projects while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fiberglass swimming pool installation.
• Must be a hands-on manager who is comfortable working alongside field crews and performing construction-related tasks when needed.
• Ability to safely operate construction and excavation equipment, including skid steers and mini excavators.
• Fiberglass swimming pool installation experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes, sequencing, and job-site management.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans, site plans, specifications, measurements, and project documents.
• Knowledge of excavation, grading, plumbing, pool equipment, concrete, electrical coordination, and general residential construction.
• Understanding of residential building codes, permits, and inspections.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal team members.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, crews, subcontractors, and priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions in the field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use project management software (JobTread), email, and mobile applications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors and navigate active construction sites in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
