Job Overview
The Revit Drafter is responsible for assisting the design team with design-build projects and design only projects by developing Revit drawings and details.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site measures/scans and create accurate as-built drawings in Revit.
- Help the Design and Sales teams put together client presentations.
- Develop schematic design, design development, and construction documents in Revit. The results of this are to have a clear, concise, and complete set of construction documents to obtain a building permit and to construct the project based on these documents.
- Work with outside engineers and consultants to get engineering and pertinent information incorporated into our construction drawing sets.
- Accept & complete redline notes from Design PMs for multiple projects on time.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Assist the BIM Manager with development and maintenance of Revit library and details.
- Help streamline and improve our processes.
- Other duties as assigned or needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in Revit, CAD, and AutoCAD software
- Experience with Grasshopper, SolidWorks, and MicroStation is a plus
- Strong background in mechanical design and interior design
- Ability to create detailed schematics and blueprints
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
