Job Title: Dishwasher
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with basic kitchen tasks as needed. This is a key support role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing machines or by hand.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
- Ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Remove trash and recycling, and maintain cleanliness of garbage areas.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food safety standards.
- Report any broken or malfunctioning equipment to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
