A private investigator (PI) is responsible for gathering information, conducting surveillance, and uncovering facts for clients. Their duties vary depending on the case, but common responsibilities include:
**1. Surveillance & Monitoring**
- Observing and tracking individuals to document their activities.
- Using cameras, GPS trackers (where legal), and other tools to collect evidence.
- Conducting stakeouts and following persons of interest.
**2. Background Checks**
- Investigating individuals’ criminal, financial, and employment histories.
- Checking public records, social media, and proprietary databases.
- Verifying identities, credentials, and affiliations.
**3. Locating People (Skip Tracing)**
- Finding missing persons, debtors, witnesses, or long-lost family members.
- Using digital and physical methods to track down individuals.
**4. Fraud & Insurance Investigations**
- Investigating fraudulent insurance claims (e.g., disability, worker’s compensation).
- Uncovering staged accidents or exaggerated injuries.
- Identifying dishonest claimants.
**5. Infidelity & Relationship Investigations**
- Gathering evidence of cheating spouses or partners.
- Monitoring online and in-person interactions.
- Providing photographic or video proof.
**6. Corporate & Business Investigations**

Requirements
1. Must be 18 years or older.
2. Must have minimum of 3 years of surveillance and or reconnaissance time
3. Must be able to pass a background check
4. Must have good credit
5. Proficient with Microsoft excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe, computers, phones, and cameras
6. Must be able to workdays, nights, weekends, and some holidays
