Job Summary

Duties
- Assist lead coaches in planning and executing swim training sessions tailored to various skill levels.
- Support water safety protocols by supervising swimmers during practice and lessons, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
- Help conduct skill assessments and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement.
- Engage with swimmers through positive communication, behavior management, and encouragement to foster confidence and enjoyment.
- Support the organization of swim meets, clinics, and special events by preparing equipment and assisting with logistics.
- Collaborate with team members to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a healthy attitude towards competition.
Skills
- Prior experience as a lifeguard or in water safety is highly desirable.
- Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid & Safe Sport if not already certified
- Experience with sports-specific training instruction and coaching techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively teach children and work with diverse groups of students.
- Passion for sports coaching combined with a proactive attitude toward safety, teaching, and team development.
Part Time Hours (evenings/weekends)
