Role Overview
As Project Manager / Estimator , you will manage multi-family contracting, renovation, and restoration projects while serving as a key partner for some of Cincinnati, Ohio's largest property management groups. This is a high-impact position blending account management and project management; ideal for a hands-on construction leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven background in multi-family contracting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multi-family contracting, capital improvement, and disaster restoration projects from scope to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for multi-family property management clients, building trust, consistency, and long-term partnership.
- Collaborate with estimators, subcontractors, and internal teams to manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets across occupied apartment communities.
- Oversee job site safety, quality control, and compliance with project documentation standards.
- Drive regional growth by pursuing new opportunities with multi-family owners, operators, and property management firms.
- Support pre-construction planning, job costing, and estimating (experience with Xactimate or similar platforms preferred).
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in multi-family or commercial contracting, renovation, or restoration project management.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and change orders in a multi-family environment.
- Strong leadership and client communication skills, especially with property management stakeholders.
- Knowledge of capital improvement programs, exterior/envelope repairs, and insurance restoration specific to multi-family housing.
- Relationship-driven, solutions-focused, and adaptable to high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Must be based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with the ability to work on-site daily.
