Fast-paced screen printing & embroidery shop seeking an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to produce high quality embroidered designs and logos on various types of garments.
We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate multi-head Tajima embroidery machines using standard safety procedures.
- Must be able to thread needle on embroidery machine at an efficient rate.
- The ability to set-up, tension, operate and troubleshoot embroidered apparel jobs from onset to completion.
- Digitizing knowledge and understanding is desired but not required.
- Identify correct hoop size and proper backing, needles and thread to be used for each job.
- Maintain an organized, clean and professional production area at all times.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
