What We Need
We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to join our Medicare Stars team. This role is a critical resource in operationalizing the overarching Stars strategy and will report to the Associate Director of Stars. You will partner with the Stars leader, measure owners, and project teams to translate strategic goals into actionable project plans and successful execution. While the specific domain focus will shift to meet evolving business needs, this role will maintain a heavy emphasis on the provider side.
This position is eligible for the flex persona.

Salary Range: $94,410.00 - $115,390.00
The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.

Your Day to Day
Your primary focus will be on the day-to-day project management needed to operationalize the Stars strategy. This includes:
- Working with the Stars and domain leaders to facilitate planning sessions and track key initiatives designed to achieve high Medicare Stars ratings.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of the Stars capability roadmap, including vendor selection and in-house builds.
- Coordinating with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the timely and effective implementation of new capabilities and programs.
- Driving the execution of project plans, monitoring progress, and proactively identifying and resolving operational hurdles.
- The ability to ensure appropriate stakeholders are actively engaged to support Stars, either as Stars measure owners or as work group participants.
- Skills to lead weekly Stars performance meetings; attend Stars work group meetings and any sub-group meetings as needed.
- The ability to maintain central oversight of initiative progress and measure performance across all measure owners and workgroups.
- Coordination with Stars analytics resource to identify measures lagging expected performance; removing barriers and escalating issues as needed.
- The ability to align materials from Stars measure owners/executors and support the Stars Director in strategy and material preparation for leadership forums.
- Demonstrated ability with strategy, as well as qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation delivery skills to both large and small audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interface with physicians and other management and administrative staff at all levels of the organization.
- Strong team building, presentation, consensus-building, influencing, and negotiating skills.
- 6 years of experience in project/program management in a healthcare environment required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Proven track record of delivering highly complex initiatives in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to direct, persuade, influence, and lead to achieve desired results.
- Strategic, long-range planning skills and the ability to integrate strategy with short-term activity and translate it into operational plans.
- Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization and with key constituents.
- A high degree of organizational astuteness and the ability to successfully interact with leaders at all levels.
- Highly adaptable and creative with an openness to assuming new roles and responsibilities as they arise.
- Experience with facilitating Medicare Stars improvement efforts is a plus.
